"Music from the heart of the Kootenays"
Performing Original songs, Blues, R&B, Funk, Reggae, Ska, and Rock Classics
We are excited to host the 2nd Annual SnowMotion 2013, coming November 22 at The Spirit Bar in Nelson.
Sunshine Drive delivers a hard-driving menu of Rock Classics, Blues, R&B, Funk, Reggae and Ska, including original tunes. Founder Grant Sutherland has entertained Kootenay audiences for years with his high energy vocal and guitar stylings. Bassman Phil Wilson-Birks, a veteran of numerous bands in western Canada, lays down a solid foundation that will get you moving on the dance floor. Ain Baird brings new energy, great vocals, and throws down killer keyboard sounds. Mike Bennett returns to complete The Drive with powerful guitar riffs and huge harmonica leads. Dynamic drummer Bonnie Johnson, the band's secret weapon, sizzles with a knockout beat that rocks the house. Sunshine Drive delivers an experience of music and fun that's guaranteed to please.

I like the variety in there for sure! From the horns in Shoot Out The Lights to the reggae influence in 'Borrowed Time'. It's a fun album. I enjoy your music, and your live show on Saturday was incredible! Keep up the good work!....Dustin Stashko, Announcer at The Bridge 105.3FM, Nelson
